Cornelio Borda's designs are developed between Peru and Italy, with production in Peru, involving experts from both countries. The brands has a commitment to sustainability by repurposing waste materials, aligning with non-fast fashion values.

The Alpaca Carpet line uses Alpaca wool and, in some models, Pima Cotton yarn from excess clothing production in Peru. These handmade carpets are carefully stitched and hand-brushed for a soft finish, used in shoes and bags. The embroidery technique, first trialed with Italian artisans, is now perfected by Peruvian female artisans, each dedicating a day to embroider two pairs of shoes.
